Hello, my name is Jamie and I’m a visual artist and freelance illustrator based in Long Beach, Ca. I specialize in creating original animal and nature inspired art with a touch of magic. Engaging colors and visually pleasing aesthetics, influence my passion to make playful compositions. I combine and layer traditional media like watercolors, ink, gauche, and colored pencil to bring life and whimsy to my artwork. Storytelling plays a big role in my pieces, and I enjoy dreaming up cozy and intriguing environments for my subjects.

After rescuing my cat Bindi, I realized how pets can be a truly inspiring subject. Each has a unique personality, and they bring so much value to life and to art. It’s a joy to commemorate them and I love providing people with beautiful paintings of their cherished friends.
